Biography

Tyler Harbert joined Kodem Law Firm as a Corporate Law Clerk in May 2024. Upon graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law and being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, he then transitioned into an Associate Attorney role with the firm.

Before joining Kodem Law, Tyler interned at the Collin County and Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he obtained valuable experience learning about litigation cases. Additionally, he previously worked as a Corporate Counsel Extern for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club, where he worked on various transactional projects with the team’s legal department.

At Kodem Law, Tyler handles various matters, including civil litigation, contract drafting, and entity formation. His experience includes working on employment disputes, breach of contract cases, and financial matters. However, Tyler also collaborates with the firm’s immigration team and assists with drafting Writ of Mandamus complaints for I-485 applications.

Beyond his role at Kodem Law, Tyler enjoys golfing, traveling with his fiancée, and walking his two dogs.
