Gabriela Paulino de Paula is a dedicated law clerk specializing in U.S. immigration law, originally from Brazil. She holds an LL.B degree from the State University of Ponta Grossa in Brazil and has over five years of experience practicing law in Brazil. With a strong background in international law, Gabriela’s passion for immigration law and human rights led her to pivot her focus to U.S. immigration law after coming to the United States in 2021 under an F-1 visa to pursue an LL.M. degree. Joining the firm in January 2024, Gabriela combines her legal expertise from Brazil with her deep commitment to advocating for immigrants’ rights. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate legal support to clients navigating the U.S. immigration system.
Gabriela is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. She leverages her multilingual skills to foster trust and understanding in the attorney-client relationship. In her free time, she volunteers with local organizations supporting immigrant communities and enjoys exploring cultural connections through travel and cuisine.

Why do I practice U.S. immigration law?
My dedication to U.S. immigration law stems from my family’s immigrant background in Brazil and my strong belief in the societal benefits of immigration. As a nonimmigrant navigating the U.S. immigration system, I’ve personally experienced the challenges immigrants face. Motivated by a commitment to fairness and equality, I aim to advocate for accessibility within the U.S. immigration system, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, can navigate the process with dignity and respect.
